Had Fisher Neal @huntingactor charter out this am. Took a short ride from our marina in Highlands, NJ Had action not long after getting the lines in the water, boxing 3 right away. Slowed up a bit so made a move. Found life and had our limit pretty quickly. Catch and release the rest of the morning. We had thick fog most of the morning. Very happy with my #simrad 4G Radar.
Friday 4/27 Had zaf and nick out for a afternoon trip. Left our marina in Highlands, NJ and Found fish pretty quick. Trolled up our limit in 10 minutes with multiple double headers. After that we just threw out the shads and had intense action for a couple hours. Lost track but somewhere around 35 fish.
Had Brian Sutherland charter out this am. Guys couldn’t start until 8am, so as soon as they got to the boat we put the hammer down. Got to the back quickly and we were rewarded just as fast. We had steady action all morning. Had our limit + with a bunch of shorts mixed in.
Had a great day out with my son striper fishing. Took a bit longer to get bait then I planned but we got it and glad we did. Took a short ride, anchored up and had immediate action. Had good action for an hour. Then the fleet moved toward us and insisted on trolling through our slick. Then it was over. Seems fishing etiquette was non existent today. .
Had Zaff and Nick out this afternoon for a quick Sandy Hook Fall Striper Fishing Trip. found fish right away but they didn’t want to bite until the tide started rolling. Once the tide started it was steady action. Fished for a couple hours. Ended with well over 20 fish between the 3 of us.
Had the Reyes charter out today. Bit of a slow start for us but once we had them dialed in, we had pretty steady action. 12 fish to 34”. Lost a few nice fish at the boat. Love my Simrad NSS EVO3. The side scan has been a huge help in locating fish in shallow water.
